A Year Already?
It occurred to me as I began writing this month's blog that October has become an important month in my writing career. My latest book Coded for Murder will be released on the twenty-third. I began self-publishing two years ago this month and I began writing this blog one year ago.
After a full year of blogging, it’s time to take stock and decide what direction this blog should take in the future.
I’ve tried to share information that might be helpful to others in this blog over the past year. I’ve reached a point where I have nothing new to share about being an independent author or self-publishing. The blog posts have caught up with me on my journey.
I’d love to hear from those of you who read this blog. I need your feedback. Do you have questions that I haven’t answered? Do you have ideas or suggestions that I haven’t tried? Do you have comments about the content or depth of the blog posts? Please, email me and let me know. I’d be happy to answer any questions or share information.
My plans for the future are still taking shape. I plan to continue the Wilbarger County Series with at least three more books. I hope to begin a new series and a new stand-alone novel.
I also plan to learn to market my work. Some people have a knack for marketing. I’m not one of those people. I’ll share what I learn with you in this blog.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with comments, questions, or suggestions.
